My exploration of drawing, specialism exploration, and eventually love for weaving. The project featured below aimed to make us focus on the techniques we used when we were weaving rather than the colours that we chose. We wove with ecru yarns and then naturally dyed the samples with dyes such as tansy, madder, and brazilwood and this showed us how different yarns will take to dyes differently.
